Charlotte Gilbreth

Born and raised between Chicago roots and New York training, Charlotte Gilbreth is a New York–based actor and NYU Tisch School of the Arts student with a passion for physically dynamic, text-driven, and ensemble-based work. She has trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Experimental Theater Wing, developing a foundation in both classical and experimental performance. Her theatre credits span classical and contemporary work, including Hamlet, The Laramie Project, The Wolves, Puffs, As You Like It, and With Cat Cafe at Playwrights Horizons. She has also performed in new works and festival productions such as Earthaholics (NYU Knife Dog Fest), The Traveler (NYU Bridge Play Fest), and Angels of Cloud 8 (Producers Club NYC), often exploring bold, character-driven roles across comedy and drama .Alongside her acting work, Charlotte is an experienced improviser trained at UCB, The Magnet Theater, and iO Theater. At NYU she performs improv with HomeImprovment, sketch comedy with Etch- A-Sketch NYU, and stand up comedy with legacy stand up group Astor Place Riots.
